Advocate General Surgery Residency
The Advocate Surgery Residency Program participates in the National Residency Matching Program (the match) and accepts applications only through ERAS (the Electronic Residency Application Service).
Application Requirements
1. Complete the ERAS common application form which includes:
a. Dean’s letter
b. Medical School Transcript
c. Personal Statement
d. Relevant test scores
e. Three letters of recommendation
f. ECFMG certification is required where applicable
2. Complete the NRMP match on AAMC website

We will begin reviewing applications and sending interview invitations in October.

There will be a virtual resident meet and greet the evening prior to the interview.
Preliminary Candidate Interviews: January 24 and 31
We will be conducting interviews virtually this cycle. During the interview you will learn more about the program and interview with the program director and faculty members.

PGY 1: $ 62,000
PGY 2: $ 63,000
PGY 3: $ 65,000
PGY 4: $ 68,000
PGY 5: $ 70,000
